Ameren - Inaccurate readings
Several times over the summer and winter my bills seem to be inaccurate way too high most of the time. When I checked the reading numbers from the bill against the actual meter itself turns out the actual meter wasn't even as high as the bill from the previous month.
When I called to complain they said that I still had to pay it for the previous month or be disconnected but they would credit my next bill for that amount. They simply apologized.
But God knows how many times this has happened before I actually checked it period after that I began checking it monthly and had found at least two more times that the same and accuracy had occurred. Check your bill every month against the meter!
